Local 107
National Membership and Fund Raising Employees The chapters in Local 107 include some of the original agencies that organized this union in the 1930s.

These agencies advocate and raise funds for diverse causes. Many are devoted to supporting the State of Israel and the fight against anti-Semitism.

The local also counts among its membership employees in chapters such as the Workers Defense League, the YWCA National Board and the NAACP Legal Defense Fund. Another agency is the American Committee on Africa that was established an exceptional record of educational and solidarity work for the struggles for democracy and independence in southern Africa and against apartheid in South Africa. Members in this agency were among the foremost spokespersons and organizers of the anti-apartheid solidarity struggle within the United States.
